Welcome to The Oasis/aka: The Baptist House

Providing hospitality to students of all backgrounds, the mission of The Oasis Campus Ministry at Ball State University is to open its doors as a home-away-from-home environment; giving students spiritual support and emotional guidance through Christian leadership in an open and non-judgmental way.

Welcome to The Baptist House/The Oasis Campus Ministry homepage. We invite you to browse around our web site and see the unique ministry we are building with students at Ball State University in Muncie, IN.

We welcome all students to check us out and see how we can minister together to build a genuine Christian presence in our community as we seek together to follow Jesus by loving God and loving others.

We want The Baptist House/The Oasis to be a place where students feel like they belong, where they feel they can be honest and genuine about their faith questions and struggles, as well as honest about their life struggles.

We hope you will feel free to come by The House at 1400 W. Abbott Street in Muncie, right off New York behind Worthen Arena to hang out with friends, study, have study groups meet there, work on a paper, have some meals with friends, and participate in our scheduled activities, Bible Studies, retreats, and mission experiences throughout the school term.

We offer housing for up to 4 students. Click on our Housing Ministry tab for more information about this experience we think will make us unique. There, you can download the application forms you'll need. We also house students during the summer.

Our Spiritual Formation page will inform you about our Bible Study Gatherings, Missional Experiences, and opportunities for spiritual growth.

The Calendar page will show you what we already have scheduled so you can plan to be a part of what's happening at The Baptist House/The Oasis. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us

We look forward to meeting you and being part of your spiritual formation during your college years.
